4-H Advisory Committee

 

An advisory committee of volunteers who, represent the county’s Community clubs, Expanded Food and Nutrition groups, 4-H Special interests, 4-H School Enrichment programs and all geographic regions of the county. The committee’s purpose is to:

  • Provide the forum for volunteers to exchange ideas and discussion of mutual problem areas and enhance the awareness of 4-H in the community
  • Cooperate with and advise the 4-H staff in planning, developing, promoting, implementing, evaluation and financing a 4-H program to meet the needs of the county.

It is comprised of 10 members within the program and 5 community leaders at large. The committee meets quarterly.

*The Expansion and Review Committee will meet with this committee on these months to review the county 4-H affirmative action plan and data.
