Garden Goodies
The Garden Goodies project involves creating an edible gardening experience for youth and parents, from preparing the soil, planting, harvesting, composting and preparing the produce for participant consumption. 4-Hers learn how to maintain the garden, identify good and bad bugs, the importance of microirrigation and rainwater harvesting. They also learn about safe food handling, nutrition, food preparation and have fun cooking before they enjoy their self-grown feasts!

Florida 4-H State Council Ways and Means Committee T-shirt Sale
Once again the Florida 4-H State Council Ways and Means Committee will be selling Senior Shirts. This year the shirts will be $8.00 and will be available for pick up at all State Events. Youth are able to purchase shirts individually or a county can order shirts in bulk. This year we are adding the option for the shirts to be mailed with a charge of $2.00 per shirt. We would like you to encourage all of your seniors to purchase a T-shirt and support State Council.
